What is the Overseas Letter of Guarantee Program?
Under the Foreign Letter of Guarantee Program, Turkish Eximbank will issue letters of guarantee required by the said companies for their overseas business in order to ensure the permanence of the companies operating in the contracting and shipbuilding sectors and the companies that produce investment goods for export in the domestic market, as well as to open up to new markets and to open the way for more business abroad
Within the scope of the program, the foreign employer is addressed to the contracting authority / buyer firm or the employer authority / buyer firm's bank;
- Letter of guarantee,
- Advance guarantee letter,
- A letter of guarantee and
- Letter of credit (Stand-by L / C) requests can be met.
Who Can Apply?
Contracting and shipbuilding companies that have undertaken projects abroad, and export companies that produce investment goods on the basis of order for export can benefit.
How long is the term?
The amount and term of the letter of guarantee to be issued is determined in accordance with the amount and term stipulated in the project and contract.
