The aim of the program is to support the expenses of logistics centers established abroad in order to ensure the rapid and comprehensive flow of our country's exports, to ensure rapid and cost-sensitive penetration of our exporters into international supply and distribution chains, and to create infrastructure facilities that will stabilize our export performance in important markets.

Definitions

Cooperation Institution: Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) or a company established by them and / or holding at least 51% of the shares,

User: means that it is established by companies that are members of the exporter union established within the framework of the provisions of the Turkish Commercial Code, TIM, TOBB, DEIK, exporters unions, trade and / or industry chambers, industry participants and organizations and manufacturers, unions and cooperatives,

Support Elements

The expenditure items of the cooperation organizations for the activation of Foreign Logistics Centers (YDLM) are determined by a circular;

  1. a) Installation, IT including investment, license and permit expenses, at a rate of 70% and up to USD 5,000,000 (five million) per YDLM,
  2. b) Rental / commission / usage expenses, including taxes, of units opened directly or through their companies or branches operating abroad, at the rate of 70% for the first two years, 50% for the other years, and a maximum of USD 3,000,000 (three million) per year per YDLM,
  3. c) Advertising, promotion and marketing activities and consultancy service procurement expenses, gross wages of up to ten persons employed in accordance with the conditions determined by the Ministry (provided that it does not exceed 100.000 (one hundred thousand) USD per person per year), 70% for the first two years, 50% for other years, and a maximum of $ 700,000 (seven hundred thousand) per year per YDLM.

Users are supported for customs clearance and other expenses determined by the circular, up to USD 100,000 (one hundred thousand) per year.

Application and Support Period                                   

In order for YDLMs to be included in the scope of support, a feasibility report must be prepared by the cooperation organizations, the project must be applied to the Ministry with the project whose details are specified in the circular and the project must be approved by the Ministry.

  • The Ministry may make an announcement regarding the establishment / opening of YDLM.
  • Cooperation organizations benefit from the support elements for five years.
  • Users benefit from the support elements for five years.
  • A maximum of six YDLMs are supported within the scope of the decision.
