GREEN TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS (YETEP) SUPPORT PROGRAM

Turkey Technology Development Foundation (TTGV), with the support of Green Technology Projects (YETEP), provides refundable financing support to application projects carried out by industrial organizations in the fields of climate-friendly technologies, clean production technologies and energy efficiency, renewable energy and other energy technologies.
Purpose and Target of Support
With the support of Green Technology Projects (YETEP), it is aimed to support practices that increase the environmental performance of industrial organizations, reduce production costs and thus increase their competitiveness. By giving priority to domestic technologies in these projects, it is aimed to indirectly encourage the development / production of such technologies with local resources and resources.
Support Scope
Green Technology Projects Support consists of three different support areas: "Climate Friendly Technologies Support", "Cleaner Production Technologies Support" and "Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Other Energy Technologies Support".
The main purpose of Climate Friendly Technologies Support is to support projects for the application of local and innovative technologies for the use of climate-friendly, energy efficient, reliable and proven alternatives in order to reduce the use and emission of gases with high global warming potential (GWP) such as hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) used in the cooling sector,
The main purpose of Clean Production Technologies Support is to support projects containing technological innovation for minimum energy, water, raw material consumption and minimum waste generation in production processes within the framework of resource efficiency (eco-efficiency / cleaner production / sustainable production) understanding, for the development, realization and commercialization of cleaner production technologies and applications that can be applied in the industry and have economic value.
The main purpose of Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Other Energy Technologies Support is to support projects for the development and realization of local and innovative technologies that produce fuel and energy from waste, with environmentally friendly technology applications in energy production and use increasing energy efficiency and enabling the use of renewable energy in industrial applications in order to maintain competitiveness, reduce external dependency and greenhouse gas emissions, especially in energy-intensive sectors in the face of Turkey’s increasing energy prices in the world.
Industrial organizations can apply for projects for their projects involving one or more of these fields. In projects, the use of domestic technology and equipment and advanced technology (material, electronics, software, etc.) applications are among the priorities of TTGV, and it is aimed to support applications with an innovative dimension.

General Application Conditions
Organizations settled in Turkey, operating in the same field for at least 3 years, can apply to the program.
Applications are accepted until the end of the project application period.
Before applying for a project, it would be beneficial for organizations to contact TTGV directly and receive guidance.
Support Conditions and Period
Project support period is maximum 15 (fifteen) months.
The lower limit for the project support budget is US $ 100,000 and the upper limit is US $ 400,000.
The project start date is considered to be the first day of the month following the deadline or later. Projects that have already started are evaluated on the basis of the deadline.
In the projects to be supported, only up to 50% of the machinery / equipment expenses (excluding VAT) and maximum 5% of the TTGV support (excluding VAT) will be covered by TTGV. Other types of expenses (personnel, transportation, construction, etc.) within the scope of the project belong to the Executive Partner.
A letter of guarantee and / or KGF (Credit Guarantee Fund) guarantee in the amount of support is received from the proposing institutions that want to benefit from the Green Technology Projects Support. In addition, joint debtor joint guarantor signatures of the major partners of the proposing institution may also be requested.
Project Evaluation
TTGV's project evaluation period is approximately 3 months from the deadline.
The projects proposed in this 3-month period are evaluated by TTGV and by Field Committee Members composed of independent experts on behalf of TTGV.
The institution proposing the project is visited by TTGV and / or Field Committee Members at the place where the project will be carried out during the evaluation process.
The evaluation fee of US $ 1,000 per project, which is decided to be sent to the Field Committee Members for evaluation, is paid to TTGV by the institution proposing the project before the visit.
Project Monitoring and Support
A Support Agreement is signed with the company for projects that are worth supporting by the TTGV Board of Directors.
Project Monitor is assigned by TTGV.
Companies that have signed the Project Support Agreement can request a prepayment.
Expenditures are made by the company according to the scope specified in the Project Proposal File and reported to TTGV and Project Audience.
The service fee corresponding to 3% of the TTGV support is collected by offsetting each payment to be made regarding the support expenditures.
Project Finalization
When the project is completed, the Project Result Report is prepared by the executive partner and submitted to TTGV and audience approval. The support amount provided by TTGV is repaid to TTGV as US Dollars, in a total of 24 (twenty four) months, including the first 6 (six) months of grace period from the end of the project, and 6 (six) months after the completion of the project term specified in the contract with the first installment, with an interval of 6 (six) months and in 5 (five) equal installments.
