Jack MA|Founder of Alibaba.com

Jack Ma, the founder of the e-commerce giant Alibaba.com, actually managed to establish the most popular e-commerce site of recent times and make the company one of the most successful companies in the world, although he did not have an easy life.

Ma Young was born in 1964 in China. His biggest dream as a kid was to learn English. He was trying to improve his English by waking up early every morning from the age of 9 and going to the hotel where the tourists were most crowded, by taking his bike for free. Ma Young, who travels free of charge to improve his English, named Ma Young "Jack" because the tourists he met had difficulty speaking his name.

He decided to start school but failed the first time in primary, secondary, and university.

When Jack Ma, who failed the primary school exams twice and the middle school exams three times, wanted to enter the university, he finally managed to enter the teaching institute after three unsuccessful attempts. He applied to Harvard University 10 times and was rejected 10 times. During this period, he also applied for 30 jobs and all the places he applied for gave him negative feedback. At that time, he had just entered the market for KFC, and among 24 people who applied for open positions, only Jack Ma was not accepted. After graduating from college, he married his girlfriend, whom he met in high school, and worked as a teacher for 5 years, earning $ 15 a month.

"I applied to be a police officer, 4 out of 5 applicants were taken and I was not accepted. When KFC entered the Chinese market, 25 people applied for the job, 24 people were taken and I was the only person not taken. " Jack MA

In 1995, he met the internet in the USA, where he went to work as a translator.

Jack Ma, who met the Internet in the US in 1995, was at first unable to understand what the Internet was. It was his friend who first introduced him to the internet. He first typed "beer" into the search engine, but came across many results. He noticed that Chinese beer was not mentioned among the results he encountered. Jack, who initially set up an English translation website after learning the Internet, was not successful, but he decided to move forward in this business.

He returned to China and started the website in 1999 with 17 friends.

He returned to China, where the computer and internet environment was expensive, in 1999 and founded the website Alibaba.com with 17 friends there. The name of the site came to his mind from the concept of alibaba and the forty thieves and asked passersby if they knew the name to test the recognition of this name. People knew this name and the site was named Alibaba.com. The foundation of the site was laid in 1999 with only 100 thousand dollars of capital.  The site, which was used by many people in a short time, came together with buyers and sellers from different parts of the world and make their purchases over the internet. In 2003, he founded the shopping site Taobao.com as a competitor to eBay. Jack Ma, who turned Alibaba into an e-commerce giant with 24,000 employees and more than 10,000 partner companies around the world, announced that he resigned from his CEO position in 2013 and left his place to young people.
